Expected return date: Tuesday 15 September
The Modeshift STARS system was taken offline on Friday 14 August to carry out essential maintenance and testing.
This work is taking longer than originally expected. We have therefore taken the decision to extend the period of downtime while we complete the necessary work and testing.
STARS service will resume on Tuesday 15 September.
Essential maintenance and testing
We deliberately scheduled this work during the summer holidays, when system usage is typically quieter, to help minimise disruption for our users.
The additional time will allow us to complete the necessary work and carry out thorough testing before the service returns. This is particularly important ahead of the busy autumn period for STARS users.
We will provide further information once the work is complete and the service is ready to return.
STARS accreditation submissions
STARS accreditation submissions from 31 July are currently being assessed by Modeshift through our QA process.
The outcomes of accreditation submissions will be communicated through the usual channels during September.
