Come and join us at one (or two!) of our upcoming training courses
In May Modeshift members and non members alike have the opportunity to attend our popular, CPD accredited, training courses. We’ll be delivering two courses this May in the North and South of England:
An Introduction to Travel Plans
If you’re new to travel planning, then the Modeshift Introduction to Travel Plans is the perfect way to expand your knowledge.
The CPD-accredited training course covers school, workplace and residential Travel Plans.
Who is this for?
The course has been designed for those new to travel planning – a package of measures to encourage and support active and sustainable travel.
Travel Plans are required for planning applications; this could be a new school, office block, residential site, university or hospital buildings or a leisure facility.
In this course we look at
- Introducing Travel Plans
- Developing a Travel Plan document
- Travel Plan initiatives
- Effective Travel Plans
Once you have completed the course, you may wish to complete our Creating and Implementing an Effective Travel Plan Course, which explores the process in more detail and gives insight into travel planning strategies, behaviour change and interventions as well as pulling together and maintaining the Travel Plan throughout the process.
