Modeshift Corporate Premium Member Love to Ride is inviting local authorities to become part of its new Schools Trailblazers programme this academic year.
Aimed at councils working with schools to support active travel, the platform brings schools onto one system, providing termly travel baselines, ready-made challenges and school-by-school data on how pupils travel throughout the year. Teacher-led logging takes just a minute and collects no pupil personal data.
Designed to complement Modeshift STARS, the platform provides regular mode share data and engagement activities that can support schools on their STARS accreditation journey.
Trailblazer councils will benefit from preferential launch pricing and the opportunity to help shape the future development of the platform.
Coming soon is Schoolways, a new feature using Love to Ride’s Rate My Routes technology to gather community-generated safe route data and mapping insights from parents, carers, pupils, teaching staff and active travel ambassadors.
