Go Jauntly, a Modeshift Corporate Premium Member, has unveiled a series of new campaigns to inspire more people to choose walking for everyday journeys during National Walking Month this May.
From blossom-filled city trails to nationwide challenges, these initiatives make it easier for people to build walking into their daily routines while supporting wellbeing and community connection.
National Trust Blossom Walks
In partnership with National Trust, Go Jauntly has launched a collection of 14 new blossom walks across 11 towns and cities, covering more than 40 miles of routes.
These curated walks celebrate spring and help people discover green spaces close to home, from Manchester and London to Newcastle and Cardiff. The popular Naturehood Challenge has also been refreshed with a seasonal pink theme to encourage more people to get outside. Find out more at: The Best Blossom Walks in UK Cities — Go Jauntly

This challenge encourages participants to walk 300km between 1 May and 30 June, which works out at around 5km a day. The campaign focuses on the mental health benefits of walking, helping people manage stress and build healthier habits.
Participants also have the chance to win £300 of outdoor gear.

The challenge invites people to walk 100 miles across May, contributing to a shared goal of 1 million miles walked across London. It is free, flexible and open to everyone, with support through milestone badges, curated routes and daily encouragement.
Whether walking to work, exploring a neighbourhood or getting out at lunchtime, every mile counts.
