National STARS Summit 2026
We’re always on the move here at Modeshift, and it’s now time to get ready for our first BIG event of 2026. Our National STARS Summit and National STARS Travel Awards will take place at The Royal Society in London on Wednesday 18 March 2025.

Our theme for this year’s Modeshift STARS Conference is ‘Getting the most out of a Travel Plan’. We know that travel plans are great, but how do we do it properly?
Are you delivering an amazing scheme and capturing your success on STARS? (we KNOW that you are, by the way…). Do you have a brand new, inclusive and exciting scheme that no one else has delivered before? If so, let us know! Send your ideas over to us by Friday 27 September.
We are looking for content that includes programmes, initiatives, and schemes that fit the theme of the conference, as well as the following session subjects:
- Embedding Travel Plans
- Data gathering – tools to maximise travel survey take-up
- Building the business case for a travel plan
- Passing the baton – transitioning Travel Plans from the consultants to the occupiers
- How to secure Travel Plans
- How to resource your team
- Securing S106 funding / resources
- Preparing local guidance / SPDs
- How to use S106 agreements and planning conditions effectively
- Securing Travel Plan measures
- Developers’ perspective

- How long will you need? 10, 15, or 20 minutes
