Call for Contributions deadline extended!

We’re greedy for best practice sharing here at Modeshift, so have extended the deadline by two weeks.  Get your response to us by Friday 16 May to be in with the chance of taking to the big stage at this year’s National Convention.

Our annual National Modeshift Convention 2025 will take place on Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 November, at The Royal Armouries Museum, Leeds.

Last was a record breaking event with over 300 delegates attending from a wide range of sectors including local authorities, events, healthcare professionals and corporate businesses .  We heard presentations from some outstanding expert keynote speakers,  enjoyed various team talks and much more.  We strive to share the very best schemes, ideas and knowledge, to support those working to support better journeys!

We’re looking for inspiring submissions that explore at least one audience/type of journey and one key theme related to everyday journeys. Whether it’s an innovative project, policy breakthrough, or community success story—we want to hear from you!

Theme:

This year our theme will look at how we evolve the narrative and both further develop and grow relationships and advocacy, to shape the future of everyday travel.

To increase walking, wheeling, riding and public transport use, we must expand beyond our current networks and these forms of travel the easy, everyday choice. This means:

  • Reaching a wider audience with clear, relatable messages
  • Engaging more individuals, decision makers and leaders in Team Modeshift
  • Shaping a stronger, people-focused narrative to drive change
