Project Manager – Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Delivery
The Project Manager – Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Delivery is responsible for the client‑side leadership, control and assurance of Essex County Council’s EV charging infrastructure programme.
*This is a hybrid-working role contractually based in Chelmsford. You will work from the Chelmsford office at least one day per week, and across our operational area on other days, depending on business need.
Please note that this opportunity will be offered as a fixed-term contract or secondment for 2 years, with potential for extension.

Modeshift STARS Programme Manager (Corporate)
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and talented Programme Manager to join our busy Delivery Team. This role is ideally suited to an individual who possesses excellent leadership skills, with significant experience in developing and leading programmes.
Our STARS Programme Manager (Corporate) has a specific focus on developing the STARS Business and STARS Healthcare programmes, ensuring that they are fit for purpose for our Corporate Members, and driving the growth and expansion of the schemes. They also have responsibility for developing new areas of work, including our expanding STARS portfolio and focus on spectator and audience travel to events and venues.
Specifically, the objectives of the post are to:
- Retain and grow the number of sites that are engaged in the STARS Business scheme be delivering excellence and ensuring inclusivity
- Retain and grow the number of sites that are engaged in the STARS Healthcare scheme
- Develop and rollout Membership services for organisations representing the Leisure sector

Senior Transport Officer-Travel Planning
Derbyshire County Council are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Senior Transport Officer – Travel Planning to join their Sustainable Travel Team within the Place Department. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver initiatives that support Derbyshire’s transition to more sustainable and active travel choices.
About the Role
You will play a key role in promoting, developing and implementing the Modal Shift programme, working closely with schools, businesses, developers, council departments, external organisations, and wider regional partners.
Your work will support behaviour change, encourage sustainable travel choices, and contribute to strategic transport planning across Derbyshire and the East Midlands region.
