Modeshift STARS Programme Manager (Education)
Salary: From £42,000 - £52,000
Contract: Fixed Term until 31 March 2029 with possibility of an extension.
Hours: 37.5-hours per week Monday to Friday. Working hours between 8am-6pm. Special working arrangements must be agreed with the Chief Operating Officer.
Based: Hybrid. A mix of home-based working and working from our head office in Darlington (minimum of 1 day per month). Some travel to local authorities, events and meetings in the UK will be required.
About the position
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and talented Programme Manager to join our busy Delivery Team. This role is ideally suited to an individual who possesses excellent leadership skills, with significant experience in developing and leading programmes.
Our STARS Programme Managers develop and implement scheme specific Modeshift STARS Delivery Plans supporting growing levels of sustainable and active travel across the range of Modeshift STARS schemes. This includes leading on the development and expansion of the Modeshift STARS programmes which currently include the STARS Education, STARS Business, STARS Healthcare and STARS Residential schemes. A key focus is on growing the number of customers that use the Modeshift STARS schemes to develop and implement their Travel Plans.
Our STARS Programme Manager (Education) has a specific focus of increasing the number of STARS licence holders and expanding the number of engaged sites that use the STARS system. They will also review and enhance the Modeshift STARS schemes to drive greater standards regarding the development and implementation of Travel Plans.
