Career history:
I worked as a nursery teacher and cycling coach before this in Amman, Jordan.
Why did you join Modeshift:
To work in a company that aligns with my interests; encouraging more people to get to places actively and to make that the norm, rather than over-car use.
Outside of Modeshift:
I loooove cycling so will normally be out on my bike in the Yorkshire Dales, Peak District or any other bit of countryside. I compete in competitions, particularly hill climb races, and enjoy travelling by bike – I’m an Arabic translator for a company that does bike-packing across the Middle East! I also love cooking, learning languages, history and, most importantly, cats.
