Nominations are now open for the Celebration of Bikeability 2026, recognising the schools, local authorities, families and individuals helping more children and young people build confidence through cycling.
Bikeability plays a key role in supporting active travel across England, and these awards are a chance to spotlight the work happening locally to embed cycling into everyday journeys to school and beyond.
Bikeability are encouraging nominations across a range of categories, including:
- School of the Year (sponsored by Squish Bikes)
- Young Cyclist of the Year (Pete Rollings Award, sponsored by Batch Bicycles)
- Family of the Year (sponsored by NatWest Rooster Money)
- Organisation of the Year (sponsored by Freewheel)
If you know a school, local authority, or individual making a real difference through Bikeability or cycling more broadly, please encourage them to be nominated.
- Nominations close: 31 May
- Winners announced: 17 July (Celebration of Bikeability Day)
