Alex Webb and Sophie Ellis – Silverstone

As the home of British motorsport, Silverstone hosts one of the most attended races on the Formula 1 calendar; last year, over 500,000 people visited the circuit across the 4 day weekend. Spectator emissions makes up over 88% of our total emissions portfolio, and being an area outside our direct control, makes it a challenging area to reduce. We have however been growing our shuttle service over the past few years, ensuring there are accessible, sustainable travel routes. We’ve had great uptake so far, and plan to expand its reach and impact even further.
