Career history: Joined Staffordshire County Council in 2000, moving to Road Safety in 2004.  I have thoroughly enjoyed moving through from School Travel Advisor, Bikeability Scheme Manager and being part of the EA panel to now managing the Active Travel Team.  We are a team of 11 working across schools, communities and businesses wherever funding allows.

Why I joined the board: I joined the board to widen my relationships with colleagues in the region and nationally, and to especially support new colleagues to our area of work.  The Modeshift Family and before that the School Travel Advisors regional groups helped me so much when I first started in this field, providing lifelong friendships which I value so much.  There is always a friendly face of someone to ask when you need a helping hand.

Personal: Married with older children and a bit of a thing for a sunrise or a starry night.  I am forever pursuing the perfect sunrise shot.
