Career history:
While studying at university I worked in kitchens and cafes however most of my ‘work’ energy went into leading and organising events for kayaking society! I am so grateful to have this position in the start of my career!
Why did you join Modeshift:
After graduating with a master’s in Sustainable Cities, I was searching for an organisation that were committed to sustainable development and actively making positive changes. I think that Modeshift does an excellent job of reaching into all sectors of society to encourage modal shift away from cars and I particularly love that the ATA programme allows myself at the other ATA coordinators to make tangible, immediate and positive changes to schools, local communities and students’ lives.
Outside of Modeshift:
I enjoy many hobbies at an amateur level including (but not limited to) white water kayaking, long distance walking, climbing, crochet and painting. This way no matter where I am or what the weather, I have something to do! I also love organising events and hosting friends, wild swimming and cooking/baking!
