Career history:
Before joining Modeshift I was working in Further Education supporting SEND students. Prior to this I worked in the Music Industry, both as a performer, technician, and sales assistant.
Why did you join Modeshift:
I have always ridden bikes and used active travel as my primary mode of transport. I knew of active travel advocacy, and the various charities acting to shift from a culture of motor-normativity to a more active one. So, when I saw an opportunity to be a part of Modeshift, I jumped-run-biked-skated at it to make the change
Outside of Modeshift:
I ride bikes and play instruments. I particularly enjoy ultra distance self-supported bike packing events, gravel races, and touring by bike. I also really enjoy being in the elements and spend as much time as possible outdoors. When I’m indoors, I play various instruments (mainly stringed), I read widely , I’m a prototypical autodidact, and I cook. I like keeping fit and healthy by practising yoga, eating well, and looking after myself both physically and mentally.
