Here at Brightwayz social enterprise we are best known for our range of specialist active travel engagement resources for all ages: walking and cycling incentives, reflectors, bike bells, stickers and printed high vis waistcoats.

• Our popular ‘reflector shop starter packs’ are popular with schools promoting ‘be bright be seen’ campaigns as part of Modeshift STARS.
• Our ‘active to travel to school reward packs’ are a popular and easy solution for schools and local authorities looking for practical incentives for walk to school and other schemes to encourage active travel for children.
• For workplaces and general community engagement our ‘active travel to work incentives pack’ hit the mark with their range of goodies.
• We also host the official Modeshift STARS shop where you can purchase products that support Modeshift schemes such as the Walking Bubble.  10% of sales income from these products goes back to Modeshift.
• Another collaboration we have is with Playing Out CIC who support play streets across the UK. You can purchase Play Street packs from us to help get your schemes started.

Our Brightwayz Green Promo range of general, eco-friendly promotional products is also popular with many Modeshift members, schools and businesses. Items include: recycled aluminium water bottles, seed bombs, recycled pens and other eco and ethical products all branded with your own logo or message to support any campaign or initiative. 100% of sales income goes to support our projects such as providing refugees with refurbished bikes.

What do you like about being a Modeshift Partner?

We have been Modeshift partners for nearly 20 years. We love the fact we have built up such great relationships with fellow partners and members. It’s a great way for us all to share our ideas on what works (and what doesn’t work!) and find out what is needed in terms of resources to promote sustainable travel. We love catching up in person with so many of you at the annual conferences and also enjoy the online regional meetings.

Fun Fact

We started out over 20 years ago as Brightkidz when our founder Alison was inspired by the walking bus scheme she ran at her son’s school and realised there was a need for resources and information to support walk to school schemes… so Brightkidz social enterprise was born.

Also 100% of profits are ploughed back towards achieving our aims of promoting safe, active, sustainable everyday travel for all.

Finally, we were really proud to be named Modeshift Organisation of the Year in 2024 and look forward to a continued long and happy friendship.
