Local authority Modeshift members can now apply to join our Management Board.
Modeshift is led by a management board of 13 voluntary members who are transport professionals in the field of sustainable travel. The Board Members of Modeshift shall consist of a Chairperson, Treasurer, Communications Representative, Best Practice Representative, STARS Education and STARS Business Representative and seven Regional Representatives.
The Modeshift Board oversee the organisations services, budget and strategy and will give usually 1 or 2 days a month of their work or own time to fulfil the duties of the position on the Board. Its an exciting organisation to be part of and Board members past and present have enjoyed the additional learning and experience in the role.
This year we have the following positions available
- Best Practice Representative
- STARS Education Representative
- Midlands Regional Representative
- North West Regional Representative
- Northeast, Yorkshire & Humber Regional Representative
If you are interested to apply for a position, please seek support/approval from your authority and then contact Ross@modeshift.org.uk to request an application form. Application forms will be sent out from September 6th and applicants will have until September 17th to return their completed form.
If two more people apply for a position you will be notified, and a decision may be put to a vote.
