We are delighted to introduce Melanie Clare, our Modeshift Customer Support Officer who joined our expanding Staff Team earlier in the summer.  Melanie is key to providing support, guidance and advice to Modeshift STARS customers. 

Position: Customer Support Officer

Year joined Modeshift: July 2022

Career history: I have worked in various PA and Customer Service roles for a number of years in event management, hospitality, healthcare and local authorities.  The roles I have undertaken have always been underpinned and very much embedded in improving the approach to commuting, health and well-being which really helped me to inspire positive changes in my family, people within the workplaces and my local area.

Why did you join Team Modeshift? After seeing the effects of the carbon footprint on our planet, I was very keen to join a company that actively promotes, encourages and nurtures sustainable and active travel.  The opportunity of working for Modeshift, gave me the chance to be involved in promoting better practices, to see how these changes can positively help and impact our planet, improving the everyday world we live in, ourselves and our communities.

Outside of Modeshift: I enjoy riding, swimming, walking and practice yoga. Cooking fresh meals is my way of relaxing after work and I enjoy trying a variety of recipes from around the world.  I also enjoy travelling and have travelled by rail across the USA and Europe which was a lot of fun!
