Welcome Catherine Stephenson, Modeshift Midlands Executive

We’re delighted to welcome Catherine Stevenson to the Executive Board. Catherine is the Connectivity Active Travel Project Manager (Engagement) at Staffordshire County Council, bringing over two decades of experience in road safety and active travel.

Having joined Staffordshire County Council in 2000, Catherine transitioned into road safety in 2004 and has since played a key role in promoting sustainable travel. Her career journey has seen her progress from School Travel Advisor to Bikeability Scheme Manager and now to leading the Active Travel Team, a dedicated group of 11 professionals working across schools, communities, and businesses.

On joining the board, Catherine shared: ‘The Modeshift community has been invaluable throughout my career, offering support, guidance, and lifelong friendships. I look forward to contributing to its continued success.’
