Brightwayz Gains ‘Excellent’ Gold STARS Accreditation and Launches New Website

Active travel engagement product specialists Brightwayz are the first Modeshift partner to achieve ‘Excellent’ (formerly known as Gold) STARS accreditation for their travel plan.  The social enterprise, who also provide in-depth tips and information on active travel alongside their product range, firmly believe they should ‘practise what they preach’ – and gaining the accreditation reflects this well.

Founder Alison Holland said: “we are really proud to have achieved this award.  Our whole team have been involved in so many actions – ‘Walk This May’, community events, cycling to work and even our recruitment policy has helped lead to an 84% decrease in carbon emissions from commuting to work since 2019.”

Coinciding with their award, the team have just launched their new website: www.brightwayz.co.uk This brings together their previous two websites – Brightkidz and Brightwayz – with their active travel products for all ages now under one banner.

The social enterprise has been providing products to support active travel schemes to councils, schools and organisations for nearly 20 years and is well known as part of team Modeshift.

They will be attending the November Modeshift Convention in York to showcase their products and information.

Check out their range of banners, stickers, bike bells, reflectors and other engaging resources to support active travel campaigns at www.brightwayz.co.uk shop.
