A Better Connected City

Car Free Day is celebrated across the world on or around 22 September. It encourages people to walk, cycle or use public transport, instead of using their car for the day.

The local theme of this year’s Car Free Day is ‘A Better Connected City’. It celebrates our aims to improve travel for everyone, by connecting people with their communities and each other in a way that is inclusive, accessible and sustainable.
