Birmingham City Council is overseeing billions of pounds of investment across major developments and infrastructure projects as the city continues to evolve. As part of the delivery of its ambitious Birmingham Transport Plan, the council is reshaping the city’s transport network to drive inclusive growth, tackle climate change, and create healthier, more connected communities.

This roles offers the opportunity to contribute to some of the city’s most significant transport and regeneration programmes, helping to shape Birmingham’s future for generations to come.

As a Transport Planner, you’ll help design and deliver innovative policies, strategies, and projects that make sustainable travel a reality.

You’ll work on a diverse mix of initiatives,  from local neighbourhood improvements to major city-wide programmes, collaborating with schools, communities, and key partners to support safer, greener and more accessible journeys for all.
