Transport Planner (Data/Strategy)
Salary: £40,182 to £42,060 per year
Contract: Permanent - Full-time
Hours: Full Time
Based: This role will work on a hybrid basis with the rest of the Transport Planning team, with time split between the office in Ealing Broadway and remote working.
About the position
Ealing Council is recruiting a Transport Planner (Data & Strategy) to help shape the future of sustainable travel across one of London’s largest and most diverse boroughs.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Ealing’s award winning Transport Planning team, supporting ambitious climate and transport goals through data analysis, policy development and performance monitoring. You’ll work on projects that encourage walking, cycling, wheeling, public transport use and electric vehicle adoption, helping deliver a greener and more connected borough.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and manage transport and sustainability data
- Monitor transport KPIs, including road safety and casualty statistics
- Support transport policy and strategy development
- Contribute to the Local Implementation Plan (LIP)
- Produce GIS mapping and transport datasets
- Help inform decision-making on active travel and sustainable transport projects
