2024 BASIS Sustainable Sports Awards and Modeshift partnership
Last week, Modeshift’s Business Director, Nick Butler, and Executive Board Member, Jon Foley, attended the 2024 British Association for Sustainable Sport (BASIS) Sustainable Sports Awards. We were truly inspired by the innovative projects and want to congratulate all the finalists and winners!
This marks an exciting new chapter for us, as we embark on a partnership with BASIS to further support organisations, communities, and individuals in promoting sustainable and active travel.
The collaboration kicks off with a series of activities on Day 1 of the National Modeshift Convention & Team Modeshift National Sustainable Travel Awards 2024, taking place in Leeds on 19-20 November. Here’s what you can look forward to:
- National Sustainable Travel Awards: We’ll announce the winner of the Sustainable Spectator Travel Event of the Year 2024.
- Extended Session: Featuring speakers from the sport sector, showcasing great initiatives already making an impact in sustainable travel.
- Toolkit Launch: We’ll unveil the first edition of Modeshift’s Toolkit on Sustainable Fan and Audience Travel, designed to support the sport and live entertainment sectors.
