Governance Update: Changes to the Modeshift Executive Board
Following our 2024 Annual General Meeting on 1 November, we’re excited to welcome new members to the Modeshift Executive Board and share some important updates. Modeshift is guided by a voluntary Management Board of dedicated transport professionals committed to advancing sustainable travel. Their time and expertise are invaluable in helping us grow and improve our services.
New Roles and Members
Development Control Executive
We’re thrilled to welcome Claire Fleming in this newly created role! Claire will support development control across our STARS Residential, Education, Business, and Healthcare programs, bringing a wealth of expertise to this dynamic area. This role will go up for election in 2025.
STARS Business Executive
Robin Pointon of Go Travel Solutions will step into the STARS Business Executive position following our November Convention. Robin will hold this role through to November 2026, focusing on advancing sustainable business travel. Welcome, Robin!
Events and Venues Executive
Jon Foley from In The Round joined us as Events and Venues Executive back in September and will serve until November 2025. With this new role also set for election next year, Jon brings energy and experience to support our events and venues STARS programme.
