Walking maps for Oriel Môn gallery, Anglesey

Living Streets Cymru in partnership with Oriel Môn have launched a bilingual walking trail of some of Kyffin Williams’ most famous landscape painting locations. The project, Yr Awyr Agored (the Open Outdoors), was supported by Cadw – the Welsh Government’s historic environment service and The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Pindar Creative worked with Living Streets Cymru and Oriel Môn to create a walking trail leaflet featuring three walks at Bae Trearddur, Llangefni and Pwllfanogl. The leaflet includes images from the museum’s collection and signposts to practical information including travel and walking advice; it is available to download in Welsh or English.

Living Streets Cymru is part of the UK charity for everyday walking and this will be its first project based in north Wales; further information on the project can be found here.

Carl Thomas, Managing Director at Pindar Creative, says:

Originally from Anglesey (Ynys Môn in Welsh), Carl is looking forward to trying out the trails on his next visit to the island.
