UK Disability History Month 2021 is from 18th November – 18th December

The observance of the Day aims to promote an understanding of disability issues and mobilise support for the dignity, rights and well-being of persons with disabilities. It also seeks to increase awareness of gains to be derived from the integration of persons with disabilities in every aspect of daily life.  Removing barriers and being enablers of participation and inclusion for people living with disability in travel and transport is included in the Modeshift Equality and Diversity Action plan.

The link attached details on how we can consider to develop a more inclusive work place.  The evidence is that the more inclusive work places are, the more productive they are and subsequently they then do the best in terms of business, consider ideas to discuss topics and ways to get involved as an individual, a member of a community or any larger organisation.
