*STARS Business Conference, Thursday 31st March 2022 – Call for Papers*
We’re still flying high here at Modeshift following our amazing National Convention that took place last month, but we’re not wasting any time; preparations are well underway for next years’ STARS Business Conference, and we hope you can join us!
Taking place at The Athena Conference Centre in Leicester on Thursday 31st March 2022, the Conference is open to all including local authorities, transport consultancies, charities, NHS settings, workplaces; any setting with an interest in securing increased levels of safe, active, and sustainable travel.
We already have an amazing agenda coming together with some great speakers and would like to invite you to join them on our national stage! We are looking for speakers to cover the following topics:
Securing corporate commitment to enable sustainable and active travel – presentations should focus on how to get businesses to sign up to Travel Plans, what needs to be included in business engagement programmes, and hints and tips for securing business engagement.
Delivering effective Travel Plans – presentations should focus on securing the delivery of Travel Plans through the development control process and Travel Plan best practice.
Influencing individual travel behaviour – presentations should focus on initiatives and ideas to engage staff, including well-being and infrastructure adaptations.
