London Walking and Cycling Conference 2022 ticket sales are now open!
Early bird ticket sales have opened for this year’s London Walking and Cycling Conference which will take place at Guildhall on Friday 10 June 2022.
The London Walking and Cycling Conference is an annual event brought to you by Hackney Council and the City of London Corporation, sponsored by Steer. Formerly the ‘Hackney Cycling Conference’, the conference has become a fixture in the calendar of professionals, campaigners, and elected members eager to explore new ideas for sustainable active travel.
The theme of the 2022 conference is ‘walking and cycling towards a fair and inclusive city’. The conference will explore the need to make walking, cycling and our urban spaces more safe, accessible, and attractive. The programme will bring together people from across London, the UK and continental Europe to demonstrate how we can develop more inclusive streets, make cycling more accessible to under-represented groups, and ensure planning decisions truly incorporate the needs of everyone.
Speakers at previous conferences have included Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London, Judith Bokhove, Vice Mayor for Mobility Rotterdam, London’s Walking and Cycling Commissioner, Will Norman, and author of ‘Bad Science’, Dr Ben Goldacre. This year’s conference is set to host the widest range of sustainable transport experts yet.
Early bird ticket sales are available until 5th May 2022. Following this, tickets will progress onto general sales, so get your ticket now to receive a discounted rate.
Details about this year’s programme and speakers will be released over the coming months. Look out for updates on the London Walking and Cycling Conference event page.
