Birmingham learners launch campaign for Walk to School Week
Learners at a Birmingham Academy are launching their own initiative in support of Walk to School Week later this month. The committed Active Travel Ambassadors at Ninestiles, an Academy – a Summit Learning Trust school in Birmingham – are using £200 of competition money to incentivise their peers to make environmentally-friendly journeys to school.
The funds, awarded to them, through their participation in our Active Travel Ambassador programme earlier this year, will be put to good use during Walk to School Week, which is being held from May 20 to 24.
