Modeshift STARS Conference and National STARS Travel Awards 2025 – Call for Contributions are OPEN!
We’re always on the move here at Modeshift, and it’s now time to get ready for our first BIG event of 2025. Our Modeshift STARS Conference and National STARS Travel Awards will take place at The Royal Society in London on Thursday 27 March 2025.
As a reminder, organisations with a STARS LA School License, a STARS LA Workplace and Residential License, or a STARS Corporate License will receive one free delegate place at this event.

Our theme for this year’s Modeshift STARS Conference is ‘Delivering effective Travel Plans’.
Are you delivering an amazing scheme and capturing your success on STARS?
(We KNOW that you are, by the way…). Do you have a brand new, inclusive and exciting scheme that no-one else has delivered before? If so, we want to know! Send your ideas over to us by 11 October.
We are looking for content that includes programmes, initiatives, and schemes that fit the theme of the conference, as well as the following session subjects:
• Workplace Travel Plans
• Residential Travel Plans
• Sustainable / active travel projects for healthcare settings
• Working with Further / Higher Education settings
• Successful school travel programmes
• Building momentum with STARS engagement
• Strategies, quick wins and retaining sites
• Providing better infrastructure for workplaces/schools/hospitals/etc
• Delivering excellent communications
• Working in partnerships
• Utilising the latest technology
If you are interested in contributing to our event, please complete the following questions with as much detail as possible, and send to events@modeshift.org.uk by Friday 11 October:
1. Presentation title
2. Presentation synopsis – please provide a short summary of what you plan to cover
3. How long will you need? 10, 15, or 20 mins
4. Name of presenter (s) and organisation (s)
5. How will you present your work (presentation, workshop, panel discussion, video etc)?
6. Please provide your LinkedIn handle
All contributions that are accepted will receive one free delegate place at the STARS Conference.
