Towards a Whole Systems Approach to Sustainable Transport: Place, People, Practice

Tuesday, 28 November 2023, 10:00 – 15:30

The Priory Rooms Meeting & Conference Centre, Birmingham

Join the University of Birmingham on 28 November 2023 to discuss and debate whole systems methods, tools and approaches for achieving sustainable transport in the UK.

This event will bring together change-makers, including community organisers, practitioners, and academics to discuss how we can advance sustainable transport in the UK, recognising transport as a system extending from the hyper-local, to regional and national. Against a backdrop of increasing politicisation and uncertainty over transport policy, the aim is to share and explore methods, tools and analysis (developed through funding from the Centre for Research into Energy Demand Solutions) which could help us take steps towards meaningful action.

The event will be participatory, aiming to act as a mechanism for building relationships across stakeholders, and enabling further discussion and action in the lead up to the next general election and beyond. To sign up and provide dietary requirements, please visit the Eventbrite page.
