SAJ Transport Consultants share their TravelWise Week plans
TravelWise Week is a world-wide, week-long Travel Challenge where Modeshift asks everyone to Travel Wisely!
Our friends at SAJ Transport Consultants have shared their plan for the week with us, they present realistic travel alternatives to employees, whilst raising awareness around the impacts of travel choices on an individual’s health and wellbeing.
Check out the plan they’ve shared with us. It’s not all about leaving the car at home …
They’ve come up with some great ideas including a transport themed photography competition and a transport themed treasure hunt across their city. Working as teams, staff will have to collect items during a fixed time period. This will include various locations, attractions and modes of transport!
How can you take part in TravelWise Week:
- Commit to delivering one or more activities across TravelWise Week
- Hold a ‘Car Free Day’, joining organisations around the World in celebrating World Car Free Day on 22 September 2023.
To be in with a chance of winning one of our TravelWise Week Awards, follow the steps below:
- Complete and submit the TravelWise Week Action Plan (available to download from our website) by Thursday 21 September 2023
- Deliver your TravelWise Week events and activities
- Complete the ‘Reporting’ section of your TravelWise Week Action Plan and email it back to us (travelwiseweek@modeshift.org.uk) by Sunday 15 October.
