Modeshift Partner GO Travel Solutions appointed as Travel Plan Coordinators for Brackmills Gateway
GO Travel Solutions have been appointed as the Travel Plan Coordinators for Brackmills Gateway in Northampton. Brackmills Gateway comprises three industrial units totalling 822,000 square feet. The site is located on the northern edge of Brackmills Industrial Estate adjacent to the A428 and the A45. Currently Active Ants, DSV and Mentfield are the employers based at the Gateway.
The Travel Plan Coordinator role is for five years and is one of the planning conditions for this new development. As part of this role, GO Travel Solutions will develop and promote a range of travel initiatives for staff that work at Brackmills Gateway. This will focus on staff commuting to help reduce the cost of their travel, lessen their carbon footprint, and support healthier travel options through more walking, cycling and scooting. In addition, the transport consultancy will undertake travel surveys, using the data to help develop further initiatives to support sustainable travel in partnership with the local transport authority, West Northamptonshire Council.

Central to this will be a customised package of travel discounts and travel information for staff at the Gateway. This will include offers on bus, rail, cycling and scooting, using our very own SmartGO workplace travel package.’
