The Zero Emissions Network – also called ZEN – is an award winning network of businesses, managed jointly by Hackney, Islington and Tower Hamlets Councils.
The network is free to join and provides a one stop shop for discounts, offers, emission reducing incentives and grants to help businesses save money, become more sustainable and improve local air quality. Over 1500 businesses and 1,000 residents have joined the network, making it one of the largest networks of its kind in the world. Since 2012, the ZEN has enabled businesses to switch from corporate vehicles to cargobikes, e-bikes and car clubs, install shower and changing facilities, new cycle parking facilities and implement energy efficient initiatives at business sites.
