‘Approved’ level travel plan accreditation for Business Central, Darlington College and The Centre for Process Innovation

Business Central, Darlington College and The Centre for Process Innovation all attained approved level travel plan accreditation through Modeshift STARS, this summer – August, 2023.

Business Central, Darlington College and The Centre for Process Innovation are all based in the Central Park Business Park site in Darlington. They have worked with Darlington Borough Council to develop and maintain a wide variety of transport measures and initiatives to promote sustainable transport to their employees and students.

Here are their STARS certificates presented by Jordan Mayhew and Andrew Bean, Business Travel Advisors at Darlington Borough Council and our Tom Murray, Modeshift STARS Programme Manager (Business).

Originally responding to a section 106 travel plan requirement to develop a site-specific travel plan, each of the three occupiers will continue to work with Modeshift to further develop and expand their travel and transport offer for all employees and students based at Central Park.

Modeshift STARS is the centre of excellence for the delivery of effective travel plans in education, business and community settings.
