Training
Cost
Our training courses are offered at reduced rates for Members, Partners and Supporters of Modeshift @ £250 per delegate.
For non-Members, the cost is £400 per delegate.
Time
Each course will take place over one full-day and includes lunch and refreshments
Normal start time is 10am (arrive from 09.30am) and end time is 4.30pm
Our School Streets course may include a site visit depending on the location of the course
Takeaway
Printed slides will be given out on the day
Delegates will be given a signed certificate at the end of the course
Slides and other course materials will be sent to delegates after the training is complete

Effective Travel Plans
Who is this for?
The Modeshift ‘Effective Travel Plans’ CPD-accredited training course has been designed for staff that are new to this area and covers school, workplace and residential Travel Plans.

Creating and Implementing an Effective Travel Plan Programme
Who is this for?
This accredited training course has been designed with local authority staff and Travel Plan Coordinators that have experience of delivering sustainable travel initiatives and Travel Plans with workplaces and residential developments. The course will cover national best practice, new insights into the audience, how to break down barriers and set up a more efficient and effective programme for the future.
This course will be a mixture of presentation slides, tasks and discussion. There is a pre-training task for all delegates to complete.

Developing and Implementing Schools Streets
Who is this for?
Modeshift in partnership with Hackney Council have developed the brand-new School Streets Training Course. This course is designed for transport professionals who want to learn more about how to setup and deliver a School Street in their area. School Streets have proved to be a great tool for reducing congestion and improving air quality in around the school gate.
This course will give you all the information you need to set up a School Streets project in your area from planning through to delivery. This one-day course will guide you through the considerations and processes you need to undertake in order to get a school street up and running.
