The afternoon session is a STARS training event. You can attend the meeting for the morning session only, the entire day or the afternoon session only.

The presumption will be made that you require lunch - however if you are only attending for part of the day and do not require lunch please could you indicate this on the booking form.

Please join us for the next joint Regional Meeting for Modeshift members from the North East and Yorkshire & The Humber regions, alongside Modeshift partners.

Time: Tea and coffee from 10am, start 10.30am - finish 3pm

At the meeting we will be providing the usual Modeshift Regional and National updates along with training on the New ModeshiftSTARS system. The full agenda will follow nearer the time. Youth Travel Ambassador (YTA) facilitator training

This course is designed to introduce transport professionals to the necessary classroom skills for delivering safe and sustainable travel workshops to Secondary school audiences. Modules include coaching, classroom management and presentations skills. Delegates have the opportunity to explore a number of teaching techniques and experiment with their delivery in a practical workshop. School engagement techniques and case studies of effective Secondary school travel initiatives for are also examined to give an example of best practice.

Date - April 17th 2019

Time - 09.00 arrival for a 09.30 start. Refreshments and lunch will be provided. The course will end by 16.30.

Location – Transport for London, St James Park Station, 55 Broadway, London, SW1H 0BD.

This course will be delivered the London Transport Museum YTA team and all delegates will be required to sign a Memorandum of Understanding prior to the training event

Delivering and implementing an effective workplace travel plan programme

Who is this for?

This accredited training course has been designed with local authority members of staff in mind that are have at least two years experience with delivering sustainable travel initiatives and travel plans with workplaces and residential developments. The course will cover national best practice, new insights into the audience, how to break down barriers and set up a more efficient and effective programme for the future.

Date - June 6th 2019 - 09.30 arrival for 10.00am start. The course will finish by 16.30

Cost - £199 per delegate (modeshift members) £399 for non members. Includes lunch, refreshments and course materials
