A SUPER Week for Liftshare

Liftshare Week 2018 (October 1st-7th) has come to an end and the number of people sharing their journeys is at an all-time high. Liftshare were encouraging people to grab a sidekick and become ‘Super Commuters’ during the annual event which aims to get more people around the country to try car sharing.

Both the general public and private, corporate schemes excelled themselves in the amount of new users signing up to share their journeys and the week saw nearly double the amount of new users Liftshare typically would expect.

Promotional activity amongst the corporate clients that Liftshare supports included using the free resources on their dashboard to print custom posters, leaflets and email templates to send to staff to encourage them to share. Some even put on special on-boarding event days to drive engagement.

The Liftshare team were also out-and-about in their hometown of Norwich during the week. Staff promoted the benefits of car sharing to commuters and travellers around the city, all whilst dressed as their favourite superheroes. Placards and leaflets gave further details, including a competition to win two annual cinema passes for people who signed up during the week to further drive new membership.
