About the role
As School Streets Officer, you will support the design, development and delivery of the city’s School Streets Programme. As well as delivering high quality transport infrastructure through this programme of works, a major part of your role will involve helping people alter their travel habits and tailoring interventions to their needs.
You will be a core member of the Transport Behaviour Change team and will support the delivery of high-profile transport improvements across the city that promote sustainable and active travel. You will work directly to the Senior Project Manager and will join our enthusiastic and supportive team, where you’ll collaborate with colleagues across the City Transport division and work closely with project teams delivering transport changes across the city.
As the successful candidate you will have a track record of successfully developing and delivering change and have experience of project processes and supporting the management of large projects and work packages. You’ll also have a strong customer ethos, a collaborative approach and excellent communication skills across a broad range of diverse groups.
