Position: Customer Engagement and Marketing Specialist

Career history: I have worked in various Sales and Marketing roles for a number of years including vehicle rental, logistics, radio advertising and most recently in a sustainable travel role promoting active travel initiatives in the South Yorkshire Region for South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive from 2015 to 2021. The role at SYPTE became very much embedded as I started to change old habits relating to commuting, health and well-being which really helped me to inspire change in people, workplaces and at home.

Why did you join Team Modeshift? After nearly 6 years working in sustainable travel, I still feel I have lots to learn but can also really share my experiences with other to promote better practice and make little changes that have big impacts to ourselves and our wider communities.

Outside of Modeshift: I enjoy jogging to keep healthy, I much prefer being outdoors to training in the gym and love to meet my “running friends” as often as possible, we have a good chatter as we exercise. I spend lots of time with my family enjoying time out on the bikes, visiting new places or making food which is usually Italian as that’s my favourite!
